Want DSLR-level results but don’t want to carry the camera and various lenses around? The compact PowerShot G5 X Mark II gives you stunning image quality while conveniently letting you carry it on any adventure. It has a 20.1-Megapixel 1.0-inch Stacked CMOS sensor and powerful DIGIC 8 processor for fast and gratifying results. The 5x Optical Zoom with image stabilization provides range and clear, steady images and video, while a built-in pop-up EVF lets you frame your subjects with ease. For variety, you can shoot 4K 30p or Full HD 120p video, be creative with Panoramic and Star Shooting Modes, and shoot continuously up to 20 fps (or 30 fps with RAW burst mode). With the PowerShot G5 X Mark II camera, quality and creativity doesn’t have to be left behind just because your DSLR was.

The PowerShot G5 X Mark II camera features a new 1.0-inch 20.1 Megapixel stacked CMOS sensor, which helps achieve high image quality and high performance at the same time, delivering gorgeous, detailed images. It also enables fast continuous shooting and fast autofocus that helps you capture important moments.
DIGIC 8 Image Processor
The DIGIC 8 Image Processor helps produce high image quality and fast operation, even in in low light. When using high ISO settings, the image processor helps keep results sharp and detailed in virtually any lighting situation. Powerful all around, the DIGIC 8 Image Processor helps ensure your photos and videos look sharp and lifelike with minimal noise or grain.
With a 5x optical zoom lens, a range of 24–120mm, advanced Optical Image Stabilization and an aperture range of f/1.8(wide)- f/2.8 (telephoto), the PowerShot G5 X Mark II camera is suitable for group photographs, landscapes, and even close-up photography. The PowerShot G5 X Mark II’s lens works in conjunction with the camera's sensor and image processor to deliver sharp images from edge to edge and from wide-angle to telephoto.
With the help of the DIGIC 8 image processor, and the stacked CMOS sensor, enjoy recording non-cropped 4K movies at a frame rate of up to 30p for high definition, cinematic results. Recording at almost four times the resolution of Full HD, you can see your subject in stunning clarity. Beautiful time-lapse videos can be created in 4K simply and easily with the dedicated Time-lapse Movie mode.
FHD 120p Video
Ideal for smooth, slow-motion playback videos, Full HD movies can also be recorded at a high-frame rate of approx. 120 frames per second. Designed to capture fun, beautiful videos, The PowerShot G5 X Mark II camera helps ensure you can see the unique expressions of your friends or family's faces in close-up movies.
The PowerShot G5 X Mark II camera features a 0.39-inch OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) built-in pop-up EVF with approx. 2.36 million dots – making the camera compact in size. The electronic viewfinder (EVF) provides a bright, sharp and colorful view of the subject at hand, and shows a crisp and vivid image with minimal distortion, even when the eye moves off the center of the visual field.
Touch and Drag AF
Equipped with Touch and Drag AF, the PowerShot G5 X Mark II camera makes it easy to select a focus point quickly without taking your eye away from the viewfinder. Using the Touchscreen LCD, it's as simple as pointing to the desired area of focus. The chosen AF point is then displayed in the camera's EVF for quick confirmation.
With autofocus tracking on to help keep your shots sharp, you can maintain the speed and shoot at up to 20.0 fps. The PowerShot G5 X Mark II can also shoot at up to 30.0 fps during RAW burst mode – ideal for sports, wildlife, moving subjects or anything unpredictable.
