AA-PRINT
Canon U.S.A. is pleased to announce the availability of AA-PRINT, a new serverless MEAP solution. AA-PRINT combines with Universal Login Manager (ULM) to provide secure anywhere printing. When integrated into a fleet of imageRUNNER ADVANCE MFP's and MEAP enabled SFP's, users can send jobs from their PCs to any one device, and print from anywhere within the network.
Universal Login Manger is a customizable, easy-to-implement solution that delivers device authentication, along with simple usage tracking. ULM offers convenient user authentication through picture logins, PIN codes, and/or proximity cards, and allows organizations the ability to manage security and cost by controlling individual users' access and usage. Combined with AA-PRINT, printed documents are prevented from being left unattended at a printer tray, which will reduce paper waste, and lower costs.
AA-PRINT requires neither additional servers nor maintenance costs, and is best suited for small to mid-sized organizations seeking an easy and affordable way of ensuring print security, and reducing maintenance costs.
Serverless Secure Printing
Print confidential documents from any MEAP-enabled imageRUNNER ADVANCE, or select imageRUNNER LBP models. Authenticate via card log-in, PIN code, and/or username and password under local or Active Directory.
Optimal Device Use - AA-PRINT offers organizations a cost-effective way to enhance productivity and gain control. Canon MEAP-enabled MFPs and SFPs can be networked with imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices to take advantage of AA-PRINT's functionality.
Maximize Productivity - Print documents sent to one or more devices, sorted by date. Also, overwrite color mode settings from color to black/white, and delete jobs.
Device Personalization
Universal Login Manager gives customers the ability to customize the user interface of their devices. This is a fun feature, which allows you to personalize the user interface and incorporate your company logo and colors, or customize it any way you choose.
Log-in customization - Universal Login Manager enables you to tailor the log-in screen to correspond with your organization's processes. IT Administrators have the flexibility to enable user log-in by user name/password, pin code, and card log-in. For faster implementation, ULM allows you to import your current users from Active Directory.
Usage Tracking - Manage print costs right from your desktop with the ability to track usage on imageRUNNER ADVANCE and select imageRUNNER LBP models within the network. Gain a real-time view of print activity, and receive usage reports by user or device.
Access Management System (AMS) - Universal Login Manager integrates with AMS for advanced security options. Found standard on all imageRUNNER ADVANCED devices, AMS establishes access control for print jobs on a per-user/group basis.
Upgradable - While AA-PRINT provides serverless secure printing for small and medium-size businesses, many customers may need to go beyond this as their requirements change or their company grows. Designed to grow with your organization, Universal Login Manager can be simply upgraded to the full uniFLOW platform.
