Focus Racking & Movie Servo AF
Focus is natural and smooth thanks to customizable focus racking. Adjust AF speed and/or subject tracking sensitivity by setting the Movie Servo AF speed in the menu to refine the camera’s focus racking responsiveness.
Movie Digital IS
Camera shake is inevitable at times, whether you’re ready to record the game-winning goal while running to keep up with the players, or when the landscape is epic but you’re riding in the car on a bumpy road. Movie Digital IS* helps minimize image blur due to shake, even when recording Full HD videos. When enabled and used with a compatible lens, 5-axis stabilization helps minimize image blur in the horizontal, vertical, and rotational planes.

4K/Full HD Time-lapse Video
The EOS 6D Mark II camera features both 4K and Full HD Time-lapse video recording that automatically combines still images captured over specified intervals. Whether observing the movement of clouds over a cityscape or a bud transforming into a fully bloomed flower, time-lapse videos excel at showing changes to a subject or landscape in a short amount of time. With the Battery Grip BG-E21 attached, the EOS 6D Mark II can be used to shoot time-lapse videos for even longer periods of time.
HDR Video
The EOS 6D Mark II camera introduces a number of new HDR (High Dynamic Range) modes that offer a great range of highlight and shadow detail for naturally rendered images, especially in contrasting lighting. In HDR Movie mode, the EOS 6D Mark II captures two HD movie frames at different exposures, one standard and one underexposed, in short succession at up to 60 fps, then combines them together for playback at up to 30 fps. HDR effects for still photography include Natural, Art standard, Art bold, Art vivid and Art embossed.
