Firmware Update: EOS R3 Firmware Version 1.2.2

Changes in firmware:

The firmware (version 1.2.2) incorporates the following fixes:
  1. Fixes an issue that, in rare instances, displays an Error Code 70 when the camera is capturing small subjects.
  2. Fixes an issue that, in rare instances, may result in image files not being recorded properly when the battery is removed from the camera while the power switch is set to <ON> or <LOCK>.
Firmware Version 1.2.2 is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.2.1. If the camera's firmware is already Version 1.2.2, it is not necessary to update the firmware.

Preparations for the firmware update:
In the folder you downloaded are the firmware (EOSR3122.FIR / file size: 85,572,560 bytes) and instructions on the firmware update procedures (a PDF file in five languages: Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese). Before starting the firmware update operations, please be sure to carefully review the instructions to confirm your understanding of the firmware update procedures.
