Canon Latin America Launches the Easy-Photo Printing Application for the Apple iPhone
Miami, F.L., April 11, 2011 – Canon Latin America, Inc., leader in digital imaging, announced its free Easy Photo-Print App, which is now available on the App store. The Canon Easy Photo-Print Application enables wireless photo printing from your iPhone or iPod touch to a compatible Canon PIXMA printer via a wireless network1 with a few simple taps.
The new Canon Easy-PhotoPrint (iEPP) application is an ideal solution for consumers looking to print and share their photos. Canon challenges users to get creative by allowing them to choose from a variety of sizes and paper types. The Canon Easy-PhotoPrint for the iPhone app allows users to print photos as large as 8 1/2 x 11 on six different types of paper. Now a family outing to the beach or a picture from a birthday party can be printed from almost anywhere to be shared with friends and family. Additionally, this new application allows consumers to print up to 20 copies at one time to a compatible Canon PIXMA printer, PIXMA MP560, MP495, MX340, MX350, MX410, MX420, MG5210 and MG6110 printers.

The countries that are authorized by Apple to download the Canon iEPP application are Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Furthermore the Canon iEPP application incorporates the “camera” button so new shots can be seamlessly captured and printed. Supporting various Canon photo papers and sizes2 with options for bordered or borderless printing, the Canon iEPP grants users the freedom to easily print and enjoy their images.
