Canon Latin America introduces the new imageFORMULA P-215II mobile document scanner
Newest imageFORMULA model offers maximum image quality, enhanced mobility and simple use
MELVILE, N.Y. September 9, 2014 – Canon Latin America, Inc. announced today the new imageFORMULA P-215II mobile document scanner. The imageFORMULA P-215II’s compact size, simple use, and high-quality imaging make it the ideal solution for the capture, storage, and collaboration of information on the move.
The P-215II scanner was designed to improve personal productivity and efficiency anywhere, from small / home offices, to large enterprises, to classrooms, even traveling in between. Users can conveniently perform general purpose distributed scanning tasks and help reduce paper in the process.
Some of the main characteristics of the imageFORMULA P-215II include:
• Super Productivity and flexibility*: Scans in color, grayscale and black & white at speeds up to 15 ppm / 30 ipm with single-pass duplex scanning, holds up to 20 documents in its ADF, and includes a built-in card reader
• Portable and mobile-11 inches long and just over two pounds-for document scanning efficiencies in any setting
• Easy Use: "Plug-and-Scan" without loading drivers or imaging applications, and a mode for automatic adjustment of settings
• Windows ISIS / TWAIN and Mac TWAIN drivers included for scanner sharing between users of either operating system
• Maximum Image Quality: Features to help improve character legibility, straighten and remove shadows from scanned images, and automatically adjust resolution of mixed batches of documents and photographs
• Bundled Canon CaptureOnTouch software enables users to simplify scanning tasks and share information using cloud applications such as Microsoft SharePoint, Evernote, and Google Docs**
• Environmentally Conscious Choice: Meets ENERGY STAR® guidelines for energy efficiency, and complies with the EU RoHS and WEEE directives
