Canon announces the New imagePROGRAF TM Series Large Format Printers and Scan to Copy/File/Share Systems in Latin America
MELVILLE, N.Y., February, 27, 2019 – Canon U.S.A., Inc. – Latin America Group is pleased to introduce the new imagePROGRAF TM Series Large Format Printers and Scan to Copy/File/Share Systems.
Redefining what is possible with a large format printer, the Large Format Solutions Division is pleased to announce the launch of the new TM Series into the award winning imagePROGRAF line-up. This new line consists of two 36-inch models, the TM-305 and TM-300, and a 24-inch model, the TM-200, plus four Scan-to Copy/File/Share systems; the TM-305 MFP T36, TM-300 MFP T36, and the TM-300 MFP L36ei and TM-200 MFP L24ei. These printers are the replacements for the iPF78X and iPF68X Series.
The TM Series, an ideal solution for printing technical documents, CAD drawings and GIS maps, uses Canon’s LUCIA TD water resistant pigment ink which opens up more usage for those who print posters, signs, and displays – even on uncoated media. Incorporated with some of the same technologies developed with the award winning TX Series; a 5-color LUCIA TD pigment ink set, PF-06 print head, L-COA PRO image processor, along with a clear intuitive touch screen operation panel, direct USB drive printing (TM-305), and nearly 60% quieter than previous models, this printer is an easy choice for the architectural, engineering, and construction industries, as well as office environments. Included in these solutions is a host of creative and workflow software with options for both the experienced and novice users alike. Newly developed for this series is Free Layout Plus, a print utility that allows users to tile, nest, and create custom layouts before printing. Also included is an improved Direct Print & Share, a cloud portal and batch printing software with new features added as does Canon’s poster creation software PosterArtist Lite.
The new TM Series is designed with the quality, speed, and ease-of-use that customers have come to expect from Canon’s imagePROGRAF devices. With added noise canceling technology built-in, the TM Series is a great fit for small offices as its quiet nature allows for less distraction in the workplace. Faster multipage output time, lower running costs than previous models, and easy roll loading are just some of the innovations packed into these compact printers. Security features to help prevent leaks or intrusion have been added to help sell into markets that have stricter security requirements.
