Canon Latin America Group launches new imagePROGRAF MFP Le series

The two new models are the 36-inch iPF770 MFP L36e and the 24-inch iPF670 MFP L24e.

MELVILLE, N.Y., November 16, 2017 - Canon U.S.A., Inc. - Latin America Group is pleased to announce the availability of the new iPF MFP Le Scan-to Copy/File/Cloud Series. The two models that comprise the new Le Series are the 36-inch iPF770 MFP L36e and the 24-inch iPF670 MFP L24e. The Le Series extends the functionality and has greater productivity than the L Series that it is replacing.

The new models will further expand the low volume – entry level market that the L Series created with its launch nearly two years ago. By providing a now easier to use system with even more functionality, this series hits the mark for those that may not have the expertise to use, or need, the sophisticated functions of the iPF MFP M40 systems. The opportunities for this series include: architects, engineers, and subcontractors, whose volume might not justify the cost of current MFP systems; primary, secondary schools, and colleges who can take advantage of applications that range from curriculum based materials, classroom visual aids, fundraising and special events; and small, professional businesses can benefit from the convenience of having an in-office device, available at any time, is more economical than outsourcing and has simplicity of operation like those of copying machines.

New Features Include:

  • Multipage PDF support
  • Touch Screen user interface with improved menus
  • Simultaneous Scan to File and Copy mode
  • Support multiple iPF770/670 printers on the network
  • Scan to selected PC – Supports multiple ScanApp Le
  • Quicker release of documents
  • Table top legs included for desktop use

Among the enhancements of the imagePROGRAF iPF770 MFP L36e and imagePROGRAF iPF670 MFP L24e models is the ability to scan multiple documents into one PDF file. This advanced function will save users the time of manually putting all the scanned documents into one PDF. The devices offer a quicker release of documents from the scanner to help expedite workflows. The scanner has a new touch screen user-interface, providing the user with improved intuitive menus and easy to read on-screen text as they manage their scan jobs. Through the new touch panel, users can print to multiple printers on a network or scan to multiple computers for improved productivity. A new Copy & Archive mode which gives the user the ability to scan to copy and simultaneous scan to file, as well as new copy scaling options, are easily found in the interface to help users complete their task with little effort.
