Canon introduces the G4100 wireless inkjet office all-in-one printer; the latest member of the G-series lineup in Latin America
This New G-Series Printer Features Hybrid Ink System and Integrated Built-In-Refillable Ink Tank, Auto-Document Feeder and Wireless Printing Capabilities
MELVILLE, N.Y., November 15, 2016 - Canon U.S.A., Inc. - Latin America Group, a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced the latest PIXMA G-series printer, ideal for anyone seeking an easy-to-use, cost-effective printer delivering genuine print reliability and high-quality images. The PIXMA G4100 Wireless1 Inkjet Office All-in-One Printer will join the PIXMA G1100 Inkjet Printer, the PIXMA G2100 Inkjet All-in-One Printer, and the PIXMA G3100 Wireless1 Inkjet All-in-One Printer.
The PIXMA G4100 printer is the only printer in the PIXMA G-series printer lineup that provides the capability to print, copy, scan and fax, and features an auto-document feeder and a two Line LCD screen. Many popular features found in the previous PIXMA G series printer models can also be found in the G4100, such as the hybrid integrated ink system, compact design and borderless printing2 capabilities. This printer, along with the rest of the G-series line, is designed with an air-protected, high-quality, durable and flexible tube that helps to keep ink from drying out when the printer is not in use.

The new PIXMA G4100 Wireless1 Inkjet Office All-in-One Printer includes a 2 Line LCD screen, making it easier for users to customize their printing experience.
Rather than featuring side-mounted refillable ink tanks, the entire line of PIXMA G-series printers, including this new G4100 printer, are designed with an integrated, built-in refillable ink tank system that is front-facing and housed within the printer, allowing users to easily check the ink levels and refill when needed. This allows frontal ink set- up accessibility and visibility of the ink levels, which can be a convenient timesaver.
In addition, the design of the ink bottles was made for an easy user experience which can minimize potential spills, leaks and stains. Pairing the ink bottle’s spill-resistant tops with an integrated, built-in-refillable ink tank, this system is designed to provide seamless and clean usability in the office or at home.
This method of replenishing ink offers lower cost per page and higher page yield than the prior generation PIXMA printers, with the black ink providing up to 6,000 pages3 per bottle and a total color ink combination of up to 7,000 pages3. The PIXMA G Series ink bottles offer substantial ink capacity with 135 ml in the black bottle and 70 ml for each color ink bottle. The new PIXMA G4100 Printer utilizes pigment and dye hybrid inks which provide a deep black for sharp text quality and vibrant colors for visually impactful printing. Another valued-added feature for the new PIXMA G Series printer is the initial quick installation set-up timeframe which is approximately six minutes4. Each of the G Series models, including the new PIXMA G4100 printer, offers print speeds of up to 8.8 images per minute (ipm) in B/W and 5.0 ipm in color5, 6 and is capable of producing a 4 x 6-inch borderless photo in approximately 60 seconds7. In addition, this new printer offers a maximum color resolution of 4800 dpi8. For additional convenience, the printer provides a Quiet Mode, ideal for working in a home or office environment.
Connectivity:The new PIXMA G4100 Wireless Inkjet Office All-in-One Printer offers Wi-Fi®1 capabilities after a few clicks through the menu options, the printer will be ready to print directly from compatible wireless devices from almost anywhere. This new printer also features a convenient wireless printing experience for users of compatible smartphones and tablets through the updated Canon PRINT9 application. Users can easily print photos and documents from several of the most popular online social platforms and services using PIXMA Cloud Link, such as Instagram®*, Facebook®, Twitter®, Flickr®, Photobucket®, Dropbox®, Evernote®, Google Drive™ and Microsoft® OneDrive™, as well as from Canon Creative Park . This model also supports Google Cloud Print™, for printing from Gmail™ and Google Docs™ on a compatible mobile device, and from the Google Chrome™ browser for Mac®, Windows®, Linux® and Chrome™ computers.

1. Wireless printing requires a working network with wireless 802.11 b/g/n capability. Wireless performance may vary based on terrain and distance between the printer and wireless network clients.
2. Envelopes and High Resolution Paper are NOT supported for borderless printing.
3. Page Yield is the estimated value based on Canon individual test method using the ISO/IEC 24712 chart and continuous printing simulation with the replacement after initial setup.
