Introduction of the Color imageCLASS MF729Cdw/MF729Cx and MF628Cw Models
MELVILLE, N.Y., October 21, 2015 - Canon U.S.A. Inc., Latin America Group is pleased to introduce three new color laser multifunction printers (MFPs) to its imageCLASS lineup. Collectively, these machines deliver enhanced wireless, mobile and cloud connectivity to meet the needs of modern offices and home office environments. The Color imageCLASS MF729Cdw (120V) / MF729Cx (230V), (MF700 series) and MF628Cw (120/ 230V), (MF600 series) models replace the discontinued Color imageCLASS MF8580Cdw / MF8280Cw models, giving customers more options to choose the product that best suits their needs.
For the first time, through the MF700 and MF600 Series, Canon imageCLASS printers offer wireless direct connection mode, which allows a user to connect their mobile device directly to the printer without the need for a Wi-Fi router or pre-existing Wi-Fi network for easy access, as well as scan-to-cloud support, which can be accessed via a new and enhanced bundled scanning software application from Canon called MF Scan Utility, to send important scanned documents directly into Dropbox™ and Evernote™. Furthermore, all three color models support the recently announced Canon PRINT Business application, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play, while the MF729Cdw (120V)/ MF729Cx (230V) models add enhanced support for Near Field Communication (NFC) technology built into Canon PRINT Business, which allows a user to print a document by touching an NFC-supported Android phone or tablet to the printer.
The Color imageCLASS MF729Cdw (120V) / MF729Cx (230V) four-in-one wireless multifunction systems can help increase productivity and improve overall workflow. With a 3.5-inch LCD color touch screen display, customers will experience a seamless navigation that can be customized to meet individual workflow needs. Both machines offer color and black-and-white printing at up-to 21-pages-per-minute (letter) and 20-pages-per-miute (A4), as well as scan, copy and fax support. Two-sided versatility is available for printing, scanning, copying and faxing via a 50-sheet duplex automatic document feeder; the machines also come with a 250-sheet cassette and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray. Furthermore, users can scan files directly to an email or shared folder, utilize a secure print mode that requires password entry to release the job and print via Mopria™ Print Service or Google Cloud Print. For clients visiting the office, they can conveniently scan to and print PDFs, JPEGs and TIFFs from a USB.
Additionally, the MF729dw adds PCL 6/ 5c language and PostScript 3™ emulation support to enable printing from a wide variety of applications.
The Color imageCLASS MF628Cw (120/ 230V) four-in-one wireless multifunction systems can help increase productivity and improve overall workflow. With a 3.5-inch LCD color touch screen display, customers will experience a seamless navigation that can be customized to meet individual workflow needs. This machine offers color and black-and-white printing at up-to 14-pages-per-minute (letter/ A4), as well as scan, copy and fax support. The machines come with a 50-sheet automatic document feeder, a 250-sheet cassette and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray. Furthermore, users can scan files directly to an email or shared folder and print via Mopria™ Print Service or Google Cloud Print. For clients visiting the office, they can conveniently scan to and print JPEGs and TIFFs from a USB.
