Quality of Results:

This new professional printer model solidifies the professional class of printers offered by Canon and deliver photo prints of professional quality with predictable color, smooth tonal transitions and precise detail.

The PIXMA PRO-10 utilizes the LUCIA 10 color pigment -based ink system to produce a wide color gamut and exceptional print longevity on fine art and glossy paper. The printer employs three monochrome inks, including Matte Black, to generate deep dark blacks when using fine art paper. A key component of the PIXMA PRO-10 is the addition of Chroma Optimizer to the ink system to further improve the quality of the print. In addition to increasing the color gamut, this feature helps to enhance the black density when printing on glossy media types. After the ink is laid down, the printer applies the Chroma Optimizer to help eliminate gloss differential that at times can reflect light irregularly, resulting in a uniform and aesthetically pleasing print on glossy-or semi-gloss type of surfaces.

Quality of Experience:

To help generate a print workflow streamlined both for amateur and professional photographers; Canon includes the software Print Studio Pro, designed specifically for use with all models of the PIXMA PRO series. As part of the process to design this software, Canon interviewed a diverse range of different levels of professional photographers in order to determine what users want out of a printing application. Print Studio Pro software provides a simple and convenient photo printing solution from a variety of applications such as Canon Digital Photo Professional, Photoshop, Photoshop Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop Elements. Print Studio Pro software interface has been created to maximize ease of use with different options. Another important feature for this new professional printer is the versatility support of over various media options3, including Canon genuine photo paper and an ever-expanding list of third-party manufacturers. To further enhance the overall efficiency of this new model, Canon has added an option of Wi-Fi connectivity. It also includes connection via Ethernet, enabling multiple users to print high-quality images from the network. Whether that user is working on a project as a student or a professional Studio, you will surely find these very useful connectivity options to complete their projects in a timely manner without get rid of image quality. In addition, Canon Latin America has a call centers4 that offers assistance to those clients that need assistance with Wi-Fi configuration or other concerns.

The PIXMA PRO-10 delivers impressive print speeds over and above others in this class through optimized carriage speed, the addition of the three monochrome ink tanks and maximum nozzle counts.
