Canon Latin America, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of the EFI PrintMe Mobile Print Solution for the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series
This new MEAP application, based on EFI’s PrintMe technology, allows users to print directly from their mobile devices to imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series.
Melville, December 4, 2014. With the demand for mobile print steadily increasing, EFI’s MEAP application provides you with an excellent opportunity to offer and deliver an on-demand mobile print solution to customers. EFI’s MEAP application is for customers interested in mobile print capability including Enterprise and SMB customers.
The EFI PrintMe Mobile Print Solution for the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE Series supports Apple® iOS, RIM® Blackberry® OS, and Google AndroidTM mobile platforms and the numerous smartphones, tablets, and mobile devices that are in use (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Blackberry and Android smartphones). EFI’s MEAP application does not require a user to download drivers or install additional software on their mobile devices. In addition, Fiery based controllers are not required to facilitate mobile print.
The delivery method is all electronic and the application is available via the Canon Content Delivery System (CDS). Please note that the Server Activation Code will be supplied by EFI upon purchase of the product and is required to activate the PrintMe subscription. In addition, all orders must be placed at least 15 days before installation date. This is required to accommodate the fulfillment process.
imageRUNNER ADVANCE Requirements:imageRUNNER ADVANCE MFPs require either the Direct Print Kit or PS Printer Kit to be installed (if not already installed). Additional Memory Type B (512MB) is required for C5000/C7000/C9000 Series and Additional Memory Type D (512MB) is required for C5200/C7200/C9200 PRO Series.
