Canon Latin America introduces a new versatile and stylish document scanner
MELVILLE, N.Y. November 11, 2014. Canon Latin America, Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, announced a new document scanner, the imageFORMULA DR-F120, designed with a clear focus on the user.
The imageFORMULA DR-F120 reaches speeds of up to 20 pages or 36 images per minute* and is able to scan multiple documents of various sizes and colors (black and white, grayscale or color) while increasing daily productivity and efficiency. Its simplicity is further exemplified by his friendly control panel.
The DR-F120 reduces manual tasks and delivers high-quality imaging. It includes features that enhance text readability even when text is light-colored on light-colored background. Moreover, to maximize image quality, this scanner incorporates elements that can help straighten and remove shadows from scanned images.
The DR-F120 offers total adaptability through its incorporation of a flatbed and Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). The flatbed can help users manage smaller scanning tasks for greater flexibility. The flatbed supports legal size documents as well as different types of media formats including books, magazines, plastic cards or embossed and fragile documents, and converts these into a digital format for easy office and personal organization and sharing. The ADF can scan a wide range of document types (thick, thin or long documents) and has the ability to hold up to 50 pages.
The bundled CaptureOnTouch software allows users to access multiple scanning modes, including third-party cloud-based services** enabling the easy upload of documents for storage and immediate share with other users.
The scanner works as a versatile solution for companies dedicated to different areas like education, health, manufacturing, construction, information and data processing services and others that require batch scanning and scanning in various media formats.
