Introducing the imagePRESS C800/C700 Light Production Color Digital Presses
MELVILLE, N.Y. October 21, 2014 - Canon Latin America, Inc. is pleased to announce our newest imagePRESS color digital press series, the Canon imagePRESS C800/C700 color digital presses. Designed to meet the growing demands of the light production market, these new models provide reliable productivity, media versatility, and imagePRESS quality in a compact device. The imagePRESS brand stands for outstanding quality output, productivity, and reliability. Since its introduction in 2007, Canon has continuously updated the imagePRESS digital color press line based on market feedback from end customers and sales channels.

- In 2011, with the introduction of the imagePRESS C7010VPS Series with Canon’s own PRISMAsync production digital frontend, the first co-development of Océ and Canon

Building upon and complementing these successful and market-proven solutions, we are proud to introduce the new Canon imagePRESS C800 series
The imagePRESS C800 Color Digital Press series rounds out Canon’s production color portfolio, offering an array of new features to provide imagePRESS quality on various media types at up to 80 ppm in a small and scalable footprint. These reliable digital presses are designed for commercial print, franchise and in-plant/CRD operations, incorporating new technology innovations as well as proven technologies from the imagePRESS C7011VP/S Series.
The new imagePRESS Series comes in two different speed models:
imagePRESS C800
Digital color press with print speeds up to 80 letter-size images per minute in color for average monthly print volumes of 40,000 to 100,000 LTR images a month.
imagePRESS C700
Digital color press with print speeds up to 70 letter-size images per minute in color for average monthly print volumes of 30,000 to 80,000 LTR images a month.
